Previous Courses

1. Central Institute of Civil Service (Lower Myanmar) has been offering three types of training courses since the university establishment of 1965. In general, the courses required by the respective ranks from every ministry are considered as regular courses; separate course of civil service under any relevant ministry are considered special refresher courses and opening training courses for requirement.

Universities and Colleges teachers under the Ministry of Education were trained 24 times from 1992 to 2016. From 1993 to 2016, 97 special courses were opened for basic education teachers; in 1999, primary school teacher in the border area were trained once. Police officers under the Ministry of Home Affair were trained 24 times from 1993 to 2016. Doctors under the Ministry of Health were trained 7 times from 1992 to 1993. From 1993 to 1995, 5 Special courses were opened for General Administration Officer under the Ministry of Home Affair. Executive Staff of Myanmar Red Cross were trained twice from 1995 to 1996. Municipal Department Officer were trained 4 times from 1996 to 1998. From 1997 to 1998, twice special courses for Immigration and public population officer. From 1999 to 2003, 4 special courses were opened for Judicial officer under the Supreme Court. From 2002 to 2012, 6 special courses were opened for respective ranks of Regional Development.

Management Course for Executive level officials for executive management level officer from every ministry was only available 3 times from 2017 to 2019. Senior level official’s management courses were trained 15 times from 2013 to 2020. Management course for Mid- level officers for Mid- level officer was only available and were trained 32 times from 2008 to 2017. This type of training course has been upgraded as Advanced Diploma Course with the name of Mid-level official management course, Advanced Diploma in Civil Service Management were trained 4 times from 2018 to 2020. Similarly, Basic Pre- Service Course for Civil Service Officer for Gazette Entry level Officer was only opened and were trained 42 times from 1999 to 2016. This training course has also upgraded as Diploma Course with the name of Basic Pre- Service Course for Civil Service Officers, Postgraduate Diploma in Civil Service Management were trained 7 times from 2017 to 2020. Basic Course for Civil Service Officer were trained 212 times from 1970 to 2020. Basic Pre- Service Special Course for Civil Service Officer for Gazette Entry level office (Doctors) under the Ministry of Health were trained 10 times from 2000 to 2019. Basic Course for Junior Civil Service Officer were trained 115 times in hostel at the Central Institute of Civil Service (Lower Myanmar) from 1988 to 2020 and online system applied twice in 2020. Enhance Course for Office Supervisors were trained 86 times from 1970 to 2020. Basic Course for Clerical Staff were trained 198 times from 1970 to 2020.

General Administration (Grade-1) (Aung San ) under   the Ministry of Home Affair were trained 17 times from 1965 to 2005. Sub-Inspector (Pre) (Subaltern) (Thuya) is entry the Ministry of Home Affair were trained 17 times from 1965 to 1987. Bobby (sithu) is entry the Ministry of Home Affair were trained 44 times from 1965 to1977. Public Trade under the Ministry of Trade were 8 times from 1965 to 1969. Sub-Inspector (Pre) (Station) (Thiha) under the Ministry of Home Affair 12 times from 1967 to 1988. Security and Admin Committee were trained once time in 1970. Refresher Course for public officer under the Ministry of Home Affair were trained once time from 1970 to 1971. Course for Training of Security and Admin Clerical Staff of quarters, Village Group were trained once time in 1973. Course of Law on Referendum were trained once time in 1973.The People’s Council within Regions / States and Districts were trained 4 times in 1975. Myanmar Police force (Station) under the Ministry of Home were trained 5 times from 1979 to 1980. Youth Symposium were trained 5 times from 1980 to 1984. Duplication Training within Region / States and District People were trained twice in 1981.Personnel of defence were trained twice from 1984 to 1986. Personnel of Custom as like refresher courses were trained 5 times from 1984 to 1985. From 1984 to 1985, 8 special courses were opened for Custom Officer. From 1984 to 1985, 5 special courses were opened for Custom senior Officer. In 1985, 4 special courses were opened for Assistant Director and Custom Office. Bobby (sithu) under the Ministry of Home Affair were trained 6 times from 1984 to 1999. Worker Training were trained twice times from 1987 to 1988. State Law and Order Restoration Council within Regions / States and Districts People were trained 3 times in 1993. Development of women sector were trained 15 times from 2003 to 2008. And them, Personnel of Custom Department were trained twice times from 2006 to 2007.
