It is located near Phaunggyi Village, Hlegu Township, Yangon Division: some 18 miles away from Hlegu Township and some 50 miles away from Yangon City. The area occupied by the Institute is 3951.41 acres. There are the Central Cooperative College and Mingone Village in the East, Kyat Chaung and Mahuyar Forest in the North, PanDawGone Village in the West and Phaunggyi and PhyaKone Village in the North.
