The Department of Political Science was established in the Civil Service Academy(Lower Myanmar) in 1965. The courses taught by the Department of Political Science are- Mid-Level Officials Course, Civil Service Officers Special Course, Basic Course For Civil Service Officers, Junior Civil Service Course, Office Supervisors Course, Clerical Staff Course In 2020 COVID-19, we taught with Online Learning System.
- “To develop as a Center for delivering basic political ideologies and knowledge to support Public Policy and Public Administration”
- To deliver the political concepts and political knowledge to civil services personnel to be able to support effectively in the sectors of Public Policy and Public Administration.
- To enhance political knowledge, skills and attitude to civil services personnel for emerging public service delivery focus in their mindsets.
- To contribute political knowledge and attitudes to develop faithful, impartial, separate from party politics and professional civil services personnel.
- To get the knowledge and experience but can create for national interest.
- To learn the ways of sustainable adherence for illuminating union sprit.
- To build for the new federal democratic country and to get common result for its challenges and opportunities.
